From the moment we stepped into the ship I was aware of a mouldy damp smell, in our cabin it was worse. The sheets felt damp and paper brochures quickly became damp, ceilings had a sheen of what appeared to be mould. The carpet was...More

This Viking river boat trip is not really anything to see until you reach the Three Gorges area, and even then it is not as spectacular as some places in the US for beauty. The entire time on the river, which was 6 days, we...More

This was the best cruise i have taken. We stopped and toured numerous towns including the big hydro dam. First we toured Chongqing zoo and saw the pandas and spent two nights in Shanghai.

Wow if I did not have so many more places to go I would be back. Loved the 4 day cruise as it was a great end to China with a busy 12 days before the river experience.

We took a 4 night cruise on this ship in May. It was far from the "luxury" we were expecting. The ship is rundown and requires a refit. The staterooms were quite basic but the carpets were filthy. The scramble for lunch was ridiculous, either...More

We got on the Yangtze River Cruise Gold 8 at Jingzhou and spent 2 nights on this boat. It was a very boring cruise on a boat that needed a complete overhaul. The rooms needed painting in the worst way. Rust was coming through the...More
