A walled square, with a big room on top of the stairs where u can take pictures for an extra 50 to 100 rmb. Most parts are closed and under construction. But didn't see a palace anywhere. Waste of time.

When I went in June/July 2015, their was some construction being done. I think that the Kangxi tombs were still being constructed in preparation for the public. Other than that, I went to all of the usuals. Qianlong - Xiangfei - Cixi etc. I thought it was absolutely crazy to be so close to historical figures. You can see the... More

We spent most part of a day here and I was totally blown away! I have seen many movie sets but this is obviously the biggest I have ever seen.
