Sunset point is a tourist attraction in the Kasuali Cantonment Area.

You can enjoy the sunset sitting on the bench,take pictures around the sun set point areas. It's in Army Cantonment Area. Trek and look around to know how our Army Officers sacrificed thier lives for the safety and security for us. Pay tribute to them.

Do not miss this place. It's a bit tedious task to walk to the sunset point and view. But in the end it will be worth it.

Like all other hill stations, kasauli also has a sunset point.
The taxi can not drive up to that point due to restrictions from the Army. So the taxi will drop you on the road below and then you have to walk one and half kilometer to reach the spot. It is a small enclosed area with swings and seating. There is a small tuck shop nearby run by the army which serves tea/coffee/water and some snacks.
If you want to save the taxi fare, it is better to walk up from the church along the upper mall passing the Kasauli club to reach this point. It is less than a kilometre walk. There are patches of road under repair but one can walk up.

Another view point, not very good but you can see sunset. There is a board 'I Love Kasauli' you can take pics there but nothing much. Again no food vendors available.

Nice view of mountains

Excellent view of mountains from sunset point at Kasauli. Vehicles are not allowed beyond a point and one has to walk down 400 metres.

Nice place to hangout

we did lot of photography. children play area is there.
its clean and maintained. You have walk down for 100m as parking is not allowed nearby.

Most Serene Sunset ever Witnessed!

A real nature beauty! Serene ! Beautiful! Awestruck ! Breathtaking ! Don't have words for this. It's just not the sunset but the surrounding nature that makes it beautiful. Plus the mile walk leading to that point.
Simply not to be missed. Actually this point is understated by locals. It's better than most other places of interest in Kasauli.
If u love nature and beauty, just go for it. Be there atleast 15 minutes before and take good cameras.
