These wetlands are part untouched natural areas, plus regenerated areas that once was a sand and loam extraction "quarry". Unless someone had seen the areas when the sand and loam was being extracted, there is no other way that now those areas could be identified....More

We enjoyed our afternoon at Wattana Wetlands till the sun went down. We enjoyed the wetlands with bird watching areas and plenty of birdlife photography on the lakes, oh and some turtles and frogs:O)

Saw lots of 'new' birds, great board walks. Maps and directions could be clearer. Warnings for green ants at bird hides are needed.

The cattana wetlands is a stunning series of wetlands just north of cans cbd,there is several differaint ponds from small to really large grasslands and the wildlife is stunning ,this is not a 5 minute walk to decoder it probably will take you the best...More
