My wife and I went to the park expecting to find vistas and scenic walks like those in the advertisements; unfortunately you can hardly see anything from the main gate. Furthermore, once you pay the park entry fee (we avoided this with a special pass)...More

Unfortunately, we only spent a few hours in the entrance area os the park but this was already breath taking. Next time we will come back with more time and do one of the 3 or 5 days trips. Highly recommended.

I could write a big big review of our 8-day Kilembe Trail to Margherita Peak, but it will condense down to the following messages: 1) Go with RTS (Rwenzori Trekking Services). Their service is beyond excellent, their guides (ours: Sam and Benard) are well trained...More

The Rwenzoris are the most scenic hike in and around east and central Africa. You cross multi climatic zones, the wonder of snow quite near the equator, the lakes and streams. The guides are fantastic.

This park offers nothing but the all pack of what any other hiker or mountain climber would wish for. It becomes amazing on your trails from one stop at a Hut to the other having beautiful scenery views.

I spent 2 days in the Rwenzori Mountains in June with Rwenzori Mountaineering services (based in Nyakalengija). It was an amazing hike I can only recommend. If you can afford more time, it is worth extending, because it is hard to get to high altitudes...More

I was in Rwenzori recently and I can also recommend Rwenzori Trekking Services. They are great with great guides. If you want, you can contact me and I recommend you to my friend working there.
