Inner peace that's the word comes to mind when you step in here. You are automatically calm and peaceful and just sitting there for 15-20 min will give a gift of silence. Loved the small cleanliness at the highest level place everyone becomes silent as soon they enter. Very much recommended for inner search lovers.

I have had the great pleasure to visit Meherabad on 4 separate occasions. Each and every time has been different and probably was a reflection on my own state of consciousness at the time. Baba says that if you are to go and visit his Samadhi you are to go with no expectation. It is good advice. Just go even... More

I am sorry why i have forgotten to write about Meher Baba's Samadhi & Ashram. Best is if one go there for atleast 2 to 3 days and stays at MPR - Meherbaba Pilgrimage Retreat. It is heaven on earth. Believe me. I have not seen any other Temple or place with so much peace and calmness. Its written on... More

Possibly because of the lack of crowds or maybe because of Meher Baba's benevolent presence, there was a sense of peace and calm here. Sat down quietly for a while and did not want to leave. Whether you believe in his teachings or not, visit this place for the atmosphere. I would love to go back

I visited this place nearly 100 times in my life. Its a place of love. There is no special treatment for any one. All should come in same queue. Only special are pregnant ladies and old persons who cant stand in the queue. No Hundis where you can put money. No preists at all. No special and VIP darshans. All... More

I recently returned from a trip to Mumbai India and as always visited Meherabad in Ahmadnagar roughly 5 hours from Mumbai. Meherabad is not a tourist location - it is a place where the followers of Avatar Meher Baba pay homage to Him. The tomb shrine where His body is buried is what brings Baba Lovers from all over the... More

I recently went on a pilgrimage to Meherabad and loved it. It is home to the Samadhi or Tomb-Shrine of Avatar Meher Baba, who claimed he was God in human form. Engraved on Baba's gravestone is the beginning of his Universal Message: "I have come not to teach but to awaken." Over 20,000 people visit Meherabad on the anniversary of... More
