Pretty exciting

The first time of trying Snow Tubing, everyone of the family got very excited. Had a lot of fun. No experience needed. Great for almost all the ages (there were kids zone).

I'm in love! I was skiing at another, much larger ski hill 30 mins north, for the first time (there, not first time skiing!), and found it brutally boring. Was so unimpressed I left, and came here on the way home. And WOW! Fell in love. Owners have done an incredible job of keeping as many natural, original trees as... More

We have been to a few skiing resort in Ontario but we went to Snow Valley lately after a long time. We were pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and tidy. Getting the rental equipment was a bit slow but it was March break and we got there a bit late too so I won't blame them. The food was... More

Skiing is okay, but my son was taken out by a tube at the tube park. The conditions were so fast that tubers would slide over the rubber stopper mats and onto the walkway where riders exit. I noticed one coming towards my group and got out of the way but my son was knocked in the air and did... More

The staff are amazing at Snow Valley. Great place to either learn how to ski/snowboard, or fine tune your skills.

Check out Snow Valley's website for tubing deals. It can be pricey but they had a deal on Thursday nights for 10$ unlimited tubing from 4-9pm. If you're afraid of heights or speed I suggest looking at the hill first before buying your tickets. It is a steep hill and it is very fast, especially if the weather conditions make... More

I went on Family Day weekend 2017 and had the best time! We got there around 11 AM so it wasn't too crowded. 5 runs for $20 doesn't sound like a lot but it's enough for a good time. The staff were all so friendly and the hills and tubes were well maintained. We managed to skip the big lines... More

We have been at Snow Valley 2years ago with friends and I wanted to show how much fun it was for my granddaughter. Well this year the lineup was insane. Wait was hours!

Just a few tips for snow shoeing which was a wonderful activity. Follow the signs for Tubing when you arrive and park in that lot. The venue opens at 9 but if you want an early start to your day it's okay to arrive early. Beside the tubing hut there is a little trailer where you can rent snowshoes for... More

I went to Snow Valley on a Monday with my partner, who is a less experienced skier. Snow Valley is located in Barrie, not far off the 400 highway (10 minutes or so) and is an easy trip for people from Southern Ontario. They market themselves as a beginners ski hill and they definitely are - the runs are short... More
