Locals are extremely friendly which shape a new perception towards the Chinese in China. The bbq places are nice place to keep warm in the night. Most people comes here as a stopover for Hailougou.

Hi thanks for posting your review. If you don't mind, I like to ask you some questions if is alright: i) which part of Moxi town does a bus coming from Chengdu stops? Does it stop next to the main entrance to the Glacier Park? ii) Which hotel in Maxi Town is located nearest to the Moxi Bus Station? iii) Is it true bus returns to Chengdu daily but only departs at 6:00 AM from the same bus station in Moxi town? iv) What time does Hailuogou Glacier Park closes? v) If I want to visit the Glacier Park for two days, do I have to pay the entrance fee twice? If this is the case, is it more worthwhile to stay in Camp 2 hotspring hotels to avoid paying double entrance fees? vi) What is the operating hours of the shuttle bus between the main entrance and Camp 1,2,3? What time is the last bus? vii) Has there been a road closure from Chengdu to Hailougou in late December before due to heavy snow? Hope you can help by answering my quiries as I am planning a trip there this end of December 2016. Many thanks in advance for your kind advice ya.
