dont expect the typical "hill station" experiance here. just basics around a small lake, fair accomodation and long walks

Tourist Place for all and HoneyMoon Place for newly married couples. its have lot of breath taking places to visit. Must interesting areas are: Yearcaud Lake Shervarayan Temple Rajeshwari Temple Sri Charka Meru Temple (World Biggest Chara Mere Temple) Botanical Garden Kiliyur Falls Pokoda Point Mancha Kuttai Ladies Seat Gents Seat Anna Park and so on

Drive to the place was good, with 20 Hair pin curves and really cool and natural air with good roads the drive was too good. Place really cools down at night time. few hotels are good. A must visit and weekend gateway from hustle bustle of Bangalore city. Few good hotels and food joints are there. Very nice place.

Nice small hillstation with pleasent climate through out the year. Visited twice in 3 months still enjoyed the place. The best to look forward enroute here is the drive up hill. One of the smoothest ghats in south india. With around 20 hairpin bends this gives you an amazing drive. Take the 32km loop road from salem and not the... More

It is a very good place for outing for a day or two. I stayed with my family for a night and two days. Nice whether and lot of plantations . People are also very helpful. We are simply in love with the place. Although the place is small but it has everything to allure travellers. A small lake in its heart, surrounded by lofty hills, a grand water falls, some wonderful view points with mesmerizing views, misty winding roads through coffee estates, orchards and pepper plantations and unspoiled greenery.
