This place is about 1.5 hour drive from Lachung. Just 23 kms, but takes 1.5 hours. Good place for small snacks & has amazing valley view. Has few different flowers in May.

Yes you can visit and enjoy Vally in that season.... But will be missing snow filled roads... blockage of roads due to snow falls..... Rain is normal during that time...
I have a couple of questions for North Sikkim. 1. Can we plan our personal tour to North Sikkim instead of any tour operator? 2. Are self driven car/bike available from Gangtok? 3. Our aim is to visit Lachung, Lachen, Gangtok, Yumthang Valley, Zero point and Gurudongmar lake. Preferably, we would like to be at Gurudongmar with cold climate and mountains behind covered with snow? Is June/July good time to visit there? 4. Any other places to be covered apart from mentioned above?
