It is a beautiful place to see. wow what a wonder they made this sculptures in stone. amazing ....... in a single big stone how they created cave and many sculpture arts. not only one place, In and around of Mamallapuram is seems the same.

Recommend for visit with family and friends. I suggest to visit this place with a guide as there is little information about history of these places displayed.

Amazing ancient monuments carved from pure granite. Must see. A bit if a drive from Chennai but well worth it.

there are many many monuments-shore temple,Panch rathas, Arjuna's Tapas, Krishna's butter ball. Advised to have a certified guide.

A day would be enough to see all the monuments and also relax for a while. Avoid visiting places there in the afternoon as it can be pretty hot. You can drive in the morning such that you reach by lunch time, get into a nice... More
