A fantastic and pretty lake on the foot of Mount Fuji! We rented bicycles and and enjoyed a great day circling the lake partially! Many nice places to stop for photo shoots and snacks like cheese cake and coffee or even hot dogs and ramen (Japanes noodle soup)!

Been to different Mt. Fuji viewing spots and this is my favorite - Mt. Fuji with all its glory reflected in a calm lake. There are nice table spots around the area and it seems perfect for picnics on a sunny day.

we where there on a day trip, took a bus ride to the bat caves and it was one of the most stunning rides we ever had as we coursed through the narrow road lined with blooming sakura tree, with the lake in view 90% of times. we felt truly blessed.

It was one of the best spot of our Mt. Fuji trip....but you wont be able to stay longer as there are multiple spots to visit.Indeed it was a romantic spot...lake is totally surrounded by mountains which adds to its beauty...there is a small picnic spot nearby where families and kids were enjoying their leisure time. Perfect place to visit.
