The Eco tour business is owned and operated by Diego A. Nuñez Martinez and his sons. Diego is the most experienced bird guide, naturalist and fly fishing guide in the Bio reserve. They offer flamingo tours, birdwatching by land or by boat, crocodile night tours, and light tackle and fly fishing for tarpon and the great variety of species available here. Amazing big fishing with Diego and Martin. We had a great moment and wonderful time on the boat with Diego and Martin. We even shared the fish at the restaurant Ria Mara with an outstanding view on the sea

I highly recommend visiting Rio Lagartos and spending time with Diego. I spent 2 full days birding with him. He knew the exact areas for certain birds, was extremely knowledgeable about the birds and area, and helped add over 80 birds to my life list....More
