Diego Nunez is special. I'm a bird photographer with over 2,000 photographed worldwide species. I was specifically targeting only about 35 species in the Yucatan. Some of those included were: Orange Oriole, Yucatan Jay, Flycatcher, Woodpecker, Bobwhite, Wren & Nightjar, Mexican Sheartail, King Vulture, Ocellated...More

An amazing 3 hour boat ride to see the flamingos of Los Colarodos where they feed, etc. But enroute, so many varieties of birds as well as crocodiles. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the area. It was a fantastic tour and totally recommend.

Yes. We stayed in that area first and drove to Rio Lagartos. The roads were very good - the toll road is best to use. We thought it was an easy drive.
