The walk starts at the Gasthaus Sandwirt where there is parking. After the first meadow and on entering the woods there is an honesty box to pay fee of €2 per person.
Then begins this lovely and interesting walk - a steady climb using wooden steps and walkways that follow the gorge, cascades and waterfalls.
Return by the same route or take a circular walk through farmland to return to the gasthaus.

Attractive gorge easy accessible due to wooden boards and kind of ledders. There is a round path bur the most part is along the small river - so you can tourn round when you reach the end of it.

This place is just north of Graz, the beautiful capital of Styria. We were there at the end of July in a relatively rainy weather. We were planning to go to a much bigger gorge, the "Barenschutzklamm" too. Unfortunately because of the heavy rain it was not possible. This short and easily hiked gorge is a nice one too - not very tiring, can be done in 1-1,5 hours. It is well equiped with good wooden stairs and walkways. A friendly restaurant is at the bottom (starting point) of the trail. There is a cave in Semriach too, which is worth visiting: the Lurgrotte.

20 30 min by car from Graz.
Really nice place, in a quiet green region (alt. 600 to 700m) !
There is a parcours to follow with a duration of 1 hour approximately. Not a hard one, so beginners or older people can go to try.

We looked for a walk in the nature, that is suitable for the kids, with water around andKesselfallklamm was an excellent choose; water , waterfalls, wooden bridges and ladders and walking in the forest. Not too crowded and not expensive, we recommend

A very nice place! I went with my family who are unexperienced and never going hiking. It was very good that they were able to see this place. But the qay back was a bit more challengeing for them. Good shoes needed! Rather in dry weather!

This gorge was a short walk from our hotel in Semriach. It was a magical place to wander through and we used it as the start of a longer walk. It is possible to do a circular walk from Semriach to the restaurant at Kesselfall one way going through the gorge and the return on a higher path if you want variation. The footpaths in the area are generally well marked but if you go on from the gorge it is best to get a copy of the local footpath map. In the gorge the ladders/steps are steep and it is best to have reasonable footwear.

Tucked away just a breath away from the route to Semriach. Well worth a visit on a hot summer's day. even though there was not much water flowing when we visited, the gorge is beautiful. Nice round mini hike from the parking.

Ciao. Vorrei sapere se è possibile raggiungere la forra con mezzi pubblici oppure bisogna farlo in auto. Il percorso è agevole? C'è il rischio di perdersi nei boschi? :-) Grazie
