About
Thanks to its fleet of 5 ships and 1.049 seats, LINEAS BLUE BIRD offers you two kind of service: a regular maritime transport service on the southwest coast of Gran Canaria and day cruise trips. Sail between the different ports, enjoying the landscape of the rugged southern coastline of Gran Canaria and choosing among a wide range of departure times from each of the ports. If the chosen route has intermediate stops, you can get off and continue the trip in a following departure. Roundtrip tickets have open return time. Organize your journey freely!! We offer also a dolphins and whales sighting cruise, with a duration of 3,5 hours, including a stop for a swim bath and snorkeling. All our ships have underwater view.

Today the last day of our Puerto Rico holiday we planned on having our last dinner in Puerto De Mogan . We walked down to the harbour early in the day to ask where do we pay for a boat to Mogan for 5.30pm . The 3 guys dressed in blue TShirts assured us to come back at 5.30pm and we could pay on the boat . We returned to our swimming pool . Left the pool early and walked back to the harbour at 5.15pm . The same 3 guys were there laughing their heads off and said that the last boat was at 4.30pm, and that they had played a joke on us !!
Some way to run a boat company . Best to book other ferry and avoid these clowns.
Very disappointed to miss the opportunity to visit Puerto mogan.

Used the ferry from Arquineguin to Puerto de Mogan. Gentle cruise of just over an hour up the coast with great views. Return journey was entertaining as one of the crew engaged the passengers in an impromptu singalong along with some balloon modelling for the younger children

On Fridays it is market day in Puerto del Mogan so we booked the ferry from Puerto Rico in advance, they take a small deposit then balance on the day. It was 13 euro each return for the 30 mins journey. There was a great relaxed atmosphere on the boat with children being invited to go up front and use the boat's horn. Great views all along the coast and great way to travel.

The trip was intense. The sea was very wild and the boat made big blows on the waves. Vomit bags were handed out on the assembly line. This is not the fault of the organizer and the crew: the other boats that made the trips suffered from the same problems.
The boat is big enough, and in our case was not full. You could sit on top in the open air or covered below. There are also two rooms at the bottom with windows to the sea, but expect nothing of that: the sea is not clear enough to see anything there.
Eventually we got to the dolphins. For those who were not too sick to enjoy this was a nice highlight. The dolphins showed themselves every now and then, especially surfing in the tops of the high waves: beautiful!
The snorkel stop was also fine. There were good face masks to borrow to enjoy the fish, and buoyancy vests for the little ones. The slide is an experience: very stylish, with many landing upside down.
The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Greatest way to get to Mogan in just over half an hour following the coast line up to this lovely town. The most is well equipped and our passage very smooth leaving on the half past from PR and returning from Mogan on the quarter past. 12 Euro return per adult is pretty reasonable too I think. On the way back they stop for 5 minutes to feed the fish and you can observe this through the glass bottom of the boat if you wish.

Never been spoken to as I was this morning! Appalling! Made me feel like rubbish for asking where I should buy a ticket. There are alternative ferry lines. Use those instead if you want to be respected. We have paid for a return ticket but will be going back to our resort on the alternative line. My passage off the ferry was actually blocked by a large man with large box with the word TIPS on it. Not a chance pal! A very unpleasant experience that I shall not be repeating.

Ferry from Puerto Rico to Puerto de Mogan was as it says on the tin. No safety messages which surprised me. No real interaction with crew but they were stood holding tips bucket as you got off at both ends of round trip. Pleasant when the fish were fed and were visible through glass bottomed boat. Puerto de Mogán is worth a visit and good to enter from sea

Great way to travel from Puerto rico to the lovely Puerto de mogan. Good value @ €12 return for a scenic 30 minute ferry ride. Staff pleasant and gave some commentary as well. All in all a lovely little trip.

We used Lineas Blue Bird ferry to Mogán from Puerto Rico and return, nice little trip. Spent a couple of hours at the Market and had lunch at a restaurant which was nice. Along the way passing Amadores Beach and others. €12 each return. Nice views along the way. Enjoyable.

Hi I’m trying to find the company that does the Mogan by boat tour through TUI as I would like to know how long the cruise is from Puerto rico to Puerto de Mogan and how long you get to look around? Any help would be great
Written 12 June 2018
Hi, we do the Mogán by boat tour with TUI. The trip from Puerto Rico to Mogán takes 30 minutes. Our departures from Mogán to Puerto Rico are at 11:15, 12:15, 13:15.......17:15. If you buy a ticket to travel by yourself you can catch the ferry for the way back at any of these times. If you make the guide tour you have between 2 - 3 hours to look around in Mogán.
We hope you have a nice stay in Gran Canaria.
Best regards,
Written 13 June 2018
The price is 11,00 € for return ticket and 6,50 € for one way.
Best regards.

We are staying in san Augustine how can we catch this ferry
Written 16 October 2017
The Ferry can be boarded at Arguineguin, Anfi del Mar or Puerto Rico to travel to Puerto Mogan. It all depends on how long you want to be on the ferry. PR to PM is about half an hour...the whole route from Arguineguine to PM takes about an hour and ten minutes. If you search for their web site it has full details and an interactive map showing timetable and fares.
