Shahda Yoga Samui studio, established in 2016, is nestled in the quiet east-end of Fisherman's Village and only a few steps from the serene Bophut beach. A clean and boutique studio, fully equipped with yoga mats, bolsters and blocks. Studio owner & instructor, Era, offers week-long and month-long retreats, fitness and wellness programs for students of all ages and backgrounds worldwide. World-class plant-based and nutrition-based meals are provided by Greenlight Café & Bar. 14 standard king-bed guest rooms are also available. Class schedule: 5.30am Advanced Asanas / Dynamic Flow 7.30am Intermediate Asanas / Slow Flow 9.00am Beginners Asanas / Alignment 10.30am Intermediate Asanas / Slow Flow 6.00pm Evening Flow Full body massages and fun island experience trips are organised separately. Although I have practiced yoga in several places, Era's yoga class was one of the most diverse sessions I have attended so far. She is an amazing teacher and made me feel welcome right away. Her class was physically challenging, varied and relaxing at the same time. She also always offered different variations of each exercise so that everyone could individualize the difficulty of their workout. Had I not left early, I would have booked more classes with Era. I can recommend Shahda Yoga to everyone who wants to escape their everyday life on Samui and seek physical well-being, peace and relaxation with professionally taught yoga.

My partner and I attended three mornings of Era’s classes whilst we stayed in Koh Samui over Christmas. Era was amazing at personalising our sessions and stretching us and guiding us to evolve our practice!
We would love to transport her to Singapore for daily classes! Honestly thank you Era we loved meeting you and we will be back soon and wished we’d found you earlier in our trip 💜

Strongly recommended! this rejuvenating retreat experience gave me just what I needed. What a relaxing and healthy environment! from the lovely room, to the Yoga studio and the Yummy and nutritious food at the greenlight café, I regain my strength and clam. special thank you goes to ERA, such an attentive Yoga teacher, and so inspiring, in her words, guidance, openness and by being genuine. As the days in the retreat continued, I felt stronger and inner focused.

As I entered the studio I was feeling very nervous as I’ve never attended any form of exercise class before but after being in Era”s company for just a few minutes she put me completely at ease. Era is very patient & understanding of your body’s capabilities & guides you at a gentle pace , I could hardly bend over when I began but by the end on my 10 day session I was doing an assisted handstand! Era has taught me anything is possible with patience & persistence! She is a beautiful person with a lovely calming nature, so if your looking for somewhere to heal your body & sole I definitely recommend visiting Shahda Yoga Studio in Kohsamui

I think Era is simply the most knowledgeable yoga teacher I've ever met. She could do yoga at the Olympics!
I did a couple of advanced classes with her and it opened my eyes to new possibilities. I hope I will be back one day.
