The visit to Castello Nipozzano was the highlight of our time in Tuscany. The wine tasting was a unique experience that shouldn't be missed. Even if have been to many wine tastings this one is served at table in the dining room of the Castello. If wine, great food and conversation aren't enough the views of the vineyard covered Tuscan... Wish I took a picture of this fantastic gastronomic experience. We had the taste of Venice, an array of seafood native to Venice and buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes ( the tomatoes could have been a little more ripe) as an appetizer. It was good! We ordered sea bass coated and cooked in salt. Perfect... and sooo fresh. For dessert the... More

What a beautiful winery. We were a total of 4 couples and from the moment you take the road up to the winery, you can capture the beauty of the area. Stefania was our guide for the tour and tasting. She's worked for the family for 11 years now. Very friendly and patient, answering any of our questions. She's also... More

Our visit to Castello Nipozzano, which is one of the Frescobaldi estates, turned out to be one of the highlight of our SuperTuscans winetour with friends. After a lovely drive through the hills of Tuscany one arrives at the castle which is beautifully situated on top of a hill overlooking the country side. The winetour was a surprise in being... More

Went there with a group of friends to better learn the history of wine making in Tuscany. Stunning views, charming old part of the castle, awesome food and, of course, the top of this experience - wine tasting. Nipozzano belongs to Frescobaldi family and is one of the oldest wineyards they have, which guarantees you perfect quality and absolutely unforgettable... More

We toured 4 of the top-rated wineries and this was our favorite. The tour was private, unique, and first class, as was the tasting. We thought the wines were best in the region, too. And the lunch that followed was excellent, as well.

We just came back from the castle 1 hour ago! It's a great place! I highly recommend everyone to visit it! The wine tours cost 35 euros but you have a nice snack with 3 wines so it's more like a little lunch ;) The winery and the whole place is unforgettable:) The staff is nice and professional! If you... We visited the vineyard at the end of the season but nevertheless the views were spectacular and our guide, Giulia, was very helpful and answered all our questions. Very good day out. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and placed a large order of wine to enjoy at home.

We had the privilege of a private tour, tasting, and lunch arranged for us as part of my first visit to Italy. Everything about our experience was so uniquely special, from being personally greeted by name in the parking lot, to our host, Giacomo Fani, Public Relations Manager, and an extraordinary gentleman, fluent in eight languages, trained as a sommelier,... I have been this pleace 5-6 years before with group of friends. We had daily trip from Cruise ship docked at Livorno. It was unforgetable event. After 6 years when we plan a trip to Florence with another group of friends (6), I insist to go there again for wine tasting, some of them was not sure, they all said... More
