No matter your age, you will just love watching these amazing dogs and their herder work. There is nothing better than to see a demo like this in their own natural surroundings, doing what they do best. Not only will you see the herding aspect,...More

This was one of the most enjoyable things we did during our May 2018 visit to the Highlands! The herding demo is provided by a working shepherd who gave us a wealth of information about choosing and training his border collies, working them on the...More

This was a great experience - the dogs are amazing and Sean does a great job of showing you how the dogs work together. At the end of our demonstration, he brought out a bucket of puppies and a lamb to feed. They were so...More

This was a wonderful experience!! It is magical to see the shepherd working his dogs while explaining their training and talking about how shepherding in the area has changed over time. He hand sheared a sheep in a couple of minutes, after allowing folks from...More

As part of a ten day bus tour of Scotland, we visited this farm to see a demonstration of working sheepdogs. All I can say is that it was amazing. Neil controlled about six dogs with only voice commands or whistles. Superbly trained dogs. Then...More

Visited Neil and his dogs yesterday and it was so informative to hear about his training and the individual dogs. We also saw the Puppies - lots of ‘oohs and aahs’ from all the party including the chaps! Excellent.

This is without doubt a holiday highlight for everyone. We took our two daughters to see Neil and his sheepdogs yesterday, and we all loved it. Watching Neil and his dogs round up the sheep was a real treat, highlighting the craft, artistry and skill...More

We took an eight day tour of Scotland, and the working sheepdog exhibition by Neil Ross was one of the highlights of our trip. We live just south of the Edwards Plateau in Texas, and every local rodeo in our area has sheepdog trials. We...More

Have seen sheepdogs preform before but nothing comes close to these dogs. Extremely interesting how they are controlled by a mere whistle. Highly recommended.

This was a pain to get to because of the road works for miles either side of the farm gate. But was it worth it when you got there. I live in country Australia, and have my own version of working dogs, so its always...More

We were staying in Aviemore which is about 20 min away by car. There isn't much to in Kincraig where the farm is, but Aviemore has a few good restaurants and is a good base to tour the Highlands.

Certainly leashed dogs there. The working border collies had a small stoush among themselves but were fine with the others. The stoush stopped instantly on a word from the handler really impressive control by voice alone
