Overview
More
Skelligs Chocolate is a family run business overlooking the magnificent Skelligs Rocks, on the south west coast of Ireland. Our factory opened its doors in 1996, consisting of two little production rooms; one for making chocolate and the other for packaging. The factory has since expanded to a state of the art production facility with adjoining cafe which serves delicious hot chocolate, tea, coffee and homemade treats. With the only open plan chocolate production facility in Ireland, we encourage you to call in to see our chocolate being made, taste the delicious treats and ask the friendly staff all about where chocolate comes from and how it is made.

Admittedly the chocolate was good. Otherwise it's a cute little chocolate factory. You don't get a tour, but you can see the entire operation from the sampling counter. If you're in the neighborhood it's a nice stop. But I wouldn't go out of my way...More

Stopped here while driving around the Ring. Best hot chocolate ever. Also tried and bought several other snacking chocolates. It's an easy stop - do it! Your kids will thank you!

A little gem of a place, on the Skellig Ring. It's off the main Ring of Kerry route, so is easy to miss. Make a point of finding it. The factory is open-plan and the tastings are fun and educational. The cafe is terrific and...More

HI Jason S, thanks for your visit and review. I'm delighted you enjoyed the samples and the chocolate making process but I think the cars sat nav may have been a little off. We are on the Iveragh Peninsula not the Dingle Peninsula. We are...More

They give you samples to taste when you first enter. Many flavors are for sale, but we found that the prices are highest at this location. The same products are available in Killarney and elsewhere for 1-2 euros less per bag. . Go to the...More
