We went out to go snorkeling and got up at 4:00 in the morning to beat the crowds. However, once we were on the boat we spent about 45 minutes bouncing through the waves to get a picture at sunrise (this was a good souvenir) & then on to a beach just to hang out. Finally we went to the first snorkeling destination & spent about 45 minutes checking out the waters (definitely not spectacular if you are used to seeing colorful reefs anywhere else). Then we went to monkey beach. Swam & sat on the beach, some people fed the monkeys. Then on to Phi Phi for lunch. When done we went to another swimming cove and drove by a couple of other beaches. So, if you actually want to snorkel, this isn't the trip, however, if you want to ride around in a speed boat, this may be for you but is kind of expensive for a ride around the islands.

Had two great sunrise trips to Phi Phi and Phang Nga (6th and 7th if February 2020) both guided by Molly.
Everything planned perfectly and the whole
staff worked professional and was very super friendly. Also of course our “paparazzo” 😊 at the trip to Phi Phi Island.
Highly recommended!

We took part in a "Small Group Full-Day Phi Phi Sunrise by Speedboat from Phuket” tour. We barely met other groups during the tour because of the early departure. There was no crowd anywhere, and it was even an example that we were just in ourselves. Everyone had enough space on board, we traveled comfortably. The rainy season affected not only the number of tourists. The sea surged strongly, the boat was jumping from one wave to the next.
Under Molly's leadership, the staff did everything to have a good mood during the tour. The organization of the program was less good. The first stop lasted embarrassingly long time in the morning on Bamboo Island, although only a few of the passengers were beaching. At the same time, we could spend less than an hour underwater on the coral reefs, even though everyone was in the water. Then came a few minutes of monkey viewing in a seaside gorge. There was a longer lunch break, all kinds without guidance and sightseeing and beach facilities on the larger island's harbor bay. Lunch was a buffet, with smooth simple meals and smooth everyday flavors in a simple, without mood restaurant. After lunch, passing the Viking Cave, it was possible to swim among the tiny fish at the entrance of the Pileh Lagoon, then jump into the crystal clear water of the lagoon. The direction was Phuket Harbor from here. We didn't get to either the Maya Bay entrance and the Loh Sama Bay, even though they were on the program.
We went to wonderful landscapes, we have become richer with beautiful experiences. It's a pity that those programs didn't get enough time, which we would have liked. That's why we paid one of the highest prices, to have enough time for each program, do not be an unfulfilled promise, we get what we expect. Unfortunately, this is not entirely succeeded.

I met the group at the hotel for the Sunrise tour at 4:30 AM. They provided a light breakfast for us. Before embarking on the boat, they explained what we needed (they provided fins for snorkeling and towels) and provided motion sickness medicine.

Pro Tip: take the motion sickness medicine if you are even slightly nauseous in cars. I had a Dramamine before the trip and I was fine.

Our guide, Molly, was warm and informative. I traveled solo and she was always willing to take pictures of me when we stopped at various islands.

Molly explained clearly why did not dock at certain islands because of preservation reasons (e.g. coral).

The excursion included two beach stops, two snorkeling opportunities, and lunch.

This was a wonderful tour and worth it. We saw schools of fish, monkeys, bats, etc. The staff was great in helping us disembark and embark on the boats.

I returned back to my hotel around 2:30 PM so you have most of the day to do other things. Worth it!

no doubt, the scenario arround Phang Nga Bay is among the most wonderful things to visit in Phuket. Our guide was very good, the food for lunch also - only the speedboat we where on was quite old and not very clean - it had seen its best days already ;-) And no complimentary alcohol... So before booking a private (expensive) boattrip, make sure the boat you get is accordingly to the $1.000,00+ such a tour costs...

Fabulous views. Swimming and snorkelling. Monkeys were my favourite.
Definitely would do this again.

The booking through TripAdvisor was easy. They contacted me through TripAdvisor to tell me what time to be ready for the shuttle to collect us at the hotel. The shuttle was earlier than the allocated time of 4.45am. Brilliant.

When you get to their facility at the port, a small breakfast with hot drinks and other beverages are laid on for you.

If you have forgotten anything at the hotel, there is a selection of things you can buy, such as sunglasses, water shoes, t shirts etc. A towel is provided for you for the day, including snorkeling gear, flippers. Live jackets are available on board.

I can't swim and I still had a brilliant day. At one point I did go in the ocean with a life jacket and the team were brilliant.
The entire team on board were excellent, knowledgeable and very helpful.

We visited a few islands, where we took photos from on board the boat and people went snorkeling. The majority of your time is spent on the boat during the day apart fr the last two islands.
Lunch was provided on Phi Phi island. The food is OK, not great but not bad. Make sure you take sun block and mosquito repellent with you. You get to spend about an hour and a half on Phi Phi island and this includes your eating time.
We couldn't visit monkey Island as someone had been bitten by a monkey on the day before.
For me the highlight was Bamboo Island which was our last stop of the day after Phi Phi island. We got to spend an hour there and if you walk towards the right hand side of the island around the corner from where people can buy food and drinks you can find a quiet spot. It is picturesque and beautiful.

Snacks and refreshments are kept topped up on the boat throughout the entire day.
We got back to the port in Phuket around 2.30pm. All in all a great day.

I have uploaded a few photos of the locations we stopped at.
I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great tour of the Phi Phi Islands with Molly our guide. Certainly a very early morning (pickup at 4:30am), but worth it to minimize the crowds at all the stops.

We had about 25 people on our boat which was a very manageable number and didn’t feel crowded. The speedboat was modern and fast, but it did make for a bumpy ride on the way there which is unavoidable (about 1 hour trip). Molly was great and made the trip good fun.

Was a good mix of snorkeling at 2 places, swimming and jumping off the boat, and relaxing beach time. The buffet lunch at a restaurant was also great.

The only negative was that when we got back to the Marina, while we were waiting for minivan transport back, the company boss was giving out freebies and semi-jokingly saying we can leave after we’ve done a good TripAdvisor review. I was going to give a good review anyway, but left a slightly sour taste in the mouth to end the trip.

Not being a fan of crowds and hoards of "instal-models" we booked this early tour in hopes of beating the crowds..which we did..mostly.

Pick up from our hotel was 0430...driver was waiting...we stoped at a few other hotels and then proceeded to the Royal Phuket Marina..where our tour began. Check in was fast, easy and pleasant. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The waiting area had a nice continental buffet breakfast...toast, coffee, fruit, juices..very nice.

Our group was rounded up and boarded our high speed boat right at 0600. Our tour leader Molly introduced herself and her crew. She was just incredible. Absolutely full of positive energy and a brilliant sense of humor. She explained our day...few things changed around due to tides....

Basically we were 1st or second speed boat to most locations. Each stop we had ample time to snorkel, explore, lay on the beach...this did not feel rushed at all. Also, every time we came back on boat there was a full line up of snack, fruits and soft drinks...they really took care of us!

Lunch was at Ko Phi Phi Don...It was buffet style and i found it tasty. They fried chicken...yum! LOL. After lunch and some time to explore the "town" complete with McDonalds...we resumed our tour. This is when thing got more crowded. All the "normal" tours had started to arrive and it was getting a bit crazy. I am glad we had a nice quiet morning. About 1430 the boat started the hour long ride back to Phuket. Buses waiting for us to take us back to the hotel.

I travel a ton and am not usually a fan of "group tours" but this was, hands down, the best I have ever been on. Very well worth the price and getting up at 0330! Huge thanks to Molly..she is a gem and hopefully you will be lucky to be on her tour!

Notes...this is NOT a tour for small children. The boat ride is rather rough at points. And getting on and off the boat is a challenge at times.
