Son Martorellet is one of Minorca’s most historical and traditional...

Son Martorellet is one of Minorca’s most historical and traditional estates. Our original activity was based on cattle breeding of sheep.

Since 1997 we have been exclusively dedicated to the breeding, care and training of the Minorcan Breed horse.

The equestrian show was performed for the first time in 2000. Before that the horses where enjoyed by the previous owners, the Devecchi family, originally from Italy.

The estate was passed on to the ownership of a firm entirely Minorcan in 2006..

Our priority is the promotion of the Minorcan Horse. In order to do so, we cover all equestrian arts: Resident Show “SOMNI”, elite school exhibitions, dressage competitions, on road shows and events not only in Minorca but all around the European territory.

We are located on the road to Cala Galdana on the left. You can distinguish by high palm trees and flags horses. We hope there!

We booked online before going to Menorca and the tickets were ready and waiting for us at the entrance and seats had been reserved for us on the front row. Arrive early so that you can see the horses before the show. Plenty of parking space and well signed from the main road. The show is about an hour and... More

Visited here in October 2015 and WOW what an amazing show, we went VIP and got to look and stroke the horses before the show which the kids loved, but was a bit disappointed that going VIP was a lot of money but hardly got anything extra, a glass of bubbly, a landyard, a programme and some canapes not really... Absolutely amazing! A must see show! I would recommend going here. Good value for money and well worth it. We saw a sample of the show on another excursion and got to saw the behind the scenes. We booked through the excursion option with Thomson, so got transport there and back. Excellent night out, we did not do the VIP... More

Did not know what to expect when we booked this show. We were very pleasently surprised at the professionalism of the whole show. Even if you are not that interested in horses this show will bring a smile to your face, we thoroughly enjoyed it, it is full of surprises.

Excellent night out although if you're thinking of going check out the excursion options first as we booked the tickets and travel separately and the travel ended up costing 120 euros as there were limited choices for six. Horses dancing in costume whilst singers perform live opera, booze and burgers - what more could you want. The VIP treatment included... More

Visited 20th October and had a great evening. The horses and the riders were very talented and this combined with two great singers made a really great night out. An evening for the whole family. Highlight of the evening was the chance to meet the horses and riders at the end of the show and get that all important photo.... More

The First time we visited Minorca we hired a car and explored the Island, this time we did not bother to hire a car, so we were quite happy to pay extra and go on an organised trip (Thomson) We paid extra for the Premium seats and again we were glad we did, we were given a tour of the... More

Visited Thursday 6th October which had been a horribly wet day with Thunderstorms, which fortunately finished approx 2 hours before performance, for our 4th year. Show as good if not better than ever. Whilst the Horses and Riders are main feature the Lady and Gent Vocalists enhance the atmosphere with great vocals. Well worth a visit

Dancing horses, beautiful singing, we thoroughly enjoyed this show which was very different to anything we have previously seen. My husband thought it was excellent.
