The beach nearest Aegeon Hotel is very natural with small trees and bushes and the locals tend to go there in the evening to swim and have BBQs and picnics. As you wander further, sun loungers begin to appear opposite Hotels and when you reach the furthest point , past the village square, there is a beautiful area in front... More

The water is quite shallow but can have sea grass/seaweed in places. You can walk in either direction from Skala Kalloni and if you walk towards where the sea goes inland keep your eyes open for a couple of dolphins that had come into the Gulf of Kalloni.

There are some really good restaurants in Skala Kaloni...but I think the best is Dionysos...where the waiter remembers which dishes you particularly enjoyed on your last visit...even if it was six months or a year ago....The fish is very fresh...chips excellent...and the Tarama Salad so good...

A large sandy beach with us beds to hire at reasonable rates and bars close by. Restaurants with excellent food choices and hospitality where ever you choose to go.

Very sheltered bay so the sea is very calm and the water is very shallow. On the downside, the water could be cleaner, the sand as well (cigarette butts etc). Parking next to the beach. Fairly large playground on the other side of the road.

The beach in Skala Kallonis is good, the place is very nice to swim. But the area around the harbour is a great garbage belt, with al lot of filth in the water. What a shame for such a beautiful Island.

Excellent sandy beach. A must see at Lesbos. Ideal for kids. Many restaurants to choose. Free chairs and umbrellas if you buy something from the cafe or restaurant above.

This is a delightful spot for a day out. The sea, being a large bay, is safe. Shallow for miles, and sand unlike many other places in Lesbos. There are plenty of good restaurants for lunch and dinner, and a few interesting shops if you venture into the back streets behind the square. It's a place that grows on you.... More

The beach goes on for a few miles the area used by tourist is just on the right hand side of the little fishing harbour. There you will find a few restaurants along the beach which run the sun beds and brollies opposite there restaurant. How it works you buy a drink and use the sun beds for free. We... More

The beach is sandy with a shallow gradient into the bay, making it excellent safe bathing for children, with warm water. Sunbeds are free if you buy drinks from the host taverna. Food is excellent in all the beach side tavernas, and there is plenty of fresh fish caught by the fishermen each day. Views are beautiful around the gulf,... More
