The Mangroves and the wildlife are amazing. Do a tour or hire a Kajak. If only the council would reinforce speed limits to preserve the ecosystem. You will be able to see pelicans and birds of pray up close if you patient enough.

Fun and inexpensive way to enjoy this is to take the regular ferry from Noosa Heads to Tewantin and get off at Tewantin wharf. Go to Pier 11 restaurant for lunch. Great calamari, best anywhere, then take the ferry back to Noosa heads.

Lovely river that runs to the sea I was at the noosa river camp site it’s beautiful the river had lots of activity from early doors with paddle boarding even someone paddle boarding with there dog on it and lots of other boats moving about
