Beautiful location

Minnis Bay - a golden beach with clean water good enough to swim in. No amusement arcades, no burger vans - just beachuts and deckchairs and make your own fun.

Gorgeous sandy beach! There is even a tidal pool. Great place for a chilled out walk along the seaside, but be warned- many others will have the same idea!

A lovely beach area, with a gentle slope in for paddling. The sea comes in quite far and amusingly quickly - we watched as our sandcastle village was consumed by the gentle waves! Lovely place, boats to watch and good sand.

Sitting in restaurant by entrance door and it was draughty . We shut door at least 12 times. I can't believe after a refit and spending over £1,000,000 they couldn't spend another £100 for a door closer. Even staff don't shut door going in and out. Staff could do with further trading very slow could be better organised.

One of the many fine sandy beaches on the Isle of Thanet with the most amazing crescent shaped bay and truly fabulous views of Reculver Towers. As and when I get the chance I love cycling from my Father's house along the sea wall to Reculver for a quick libation and even lunch, if my exercise regime permits, at the... More

Stopped in a flat over looking the sea for half term with 2 kids. A lovely clean place with some great places to visit close by. There is a lovely walk along the front which was very nice to just amble along. I'm guessing it gets very busy in the summer months but if your after a quiet week after... More
