Lovely sandy beach with free parking along the approach road and more pay and display parking in the Minis pub car park. Mainly a beach not to much else there apart from a couple of cafes and an ice cream parlour. Really nice.

This has got to be one of the best places to see a summer sunset in Kent on a clear summer evening. Try it one evening and I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

Popped along on a cold spring day. Sandy beach with tide out at time of Visit. Appeared clean and found free parking along the front. Would definitely come back.

There are public toilets at Minnis bay but not sure what time they close. You can also use toilets in th he Minnis restaurant which are much more hygienic.

As far as I know you can only BBQ on the walkway in front of the beach huts. Beach Huts can be hired daily subject to availabilty.

Yes you certainly can. It. Hold be on the grass buff above the beach or on the beach or on the concrete promenade, though you may have to dodge open beach huts and set up outside a closed one.
