Buildt in 1900 the lighthouse was once situated 200 meters from the, but due to sand drift and erosion, it is about to fall into the sea in about 10-15 years. So hurry up! This place is really fascinating. From the parking it is a...More

Bring your glasses to protect your eyes from the sand and do not forget your k-way! There is a lot of wind! The environment and the armosphere is absolutely incredible!

Very nice lighthouse surrounded by sand dunes. It is a must-see when you visit the North Jutland. The views of the coast from the top of lighthouse are also fantastic.

This truly is a hidden gem. I would say one of the best attractions of Danish west coast. You just park you car/bike, have a short and nice walk to the lighthouse and you will be stunned by the sand dunes and uniqueness of this...More

Its an interesting place and worth a visit. Though you need to go soon as they predict the lighthouse will fall into the sea in a few years. The sand dunes though are just going to keep moving in land, so they are not going...More

Drug to this site by my photographer wife. So glad I came before the dunes claim this old lighthouse for their own. Dramatic, gorgeous views from the top of the lighthouse. Definitely worth the trip!!

Popped over to the coast, as had seen reviews on TA. A great spot to visit, however it was a foggy Feb afternoon, so we didn't hang around long. Had this been a clear sunny day then it would have been good to linger round...More

I'm from Sweden and not that familiar with the trains and buses in denmark. If you can make it to Lønstrup then I expect there to be a bus to take you last bit. If not then it is possible to walk from Lønstrup to the area... More

I think that depends on the activity level your daughter is used to. She might like to run and play in the sand hills - they're huge. It isn't so steep that you couldn't carry her part of the way either. When I was there... More
