We visited it after Georgette when returning to our car. It's a nice small beach, oriented west, so perfect for a late afternoon swim.

I'm not the best person to answer this. What I learnt from the local is that during the winter i.e. April/May timeframe Sea grass is there and we got to see those during our visit in May-June. I understand that the water will be free of the sea weeds during October - November.
You can check with local agencies if you are planning to do snorkeling/scuba diving.
