Queensbay Mall opened for business on 1 December 2006. It is currently the largest, longest and most modern shopping mall in Penang with a gross built up of 2.5 million sq ft and over 1 million sq ft net lettable area. The Mall is located in Bayan Lepas, minutes away from the Penang Bridge, the heart of a prime waterfront development sprawling over a land area of 73 acres. It is the most preferred shopping destination for both the locals and tourists – with 5 levels of retail’ Jusco as its anchor tenant with more than 10 junior anchors and 500 retail merchants.Besides a well-planned tenant mix, shoppers can enjoy the “low rise walk-thru” layout which stretches as far as 500 meters with excellent visibility of the shop façade and merchandizing displays. The facility and amenity signages are meticulously planned to enhance the convenience and comfort of the shoppers. The overall interior design and lightings are aimed to create a conducive and safe shopping environment for the whole family. Added to the attractions are the integrated entertainment zone on the third floor that provides a wide range of entertainment and leisure attractions ranging form multiplex to roller skating.Queensbay Mall with its tagline “It’s all happening here!” aptly epitomized the “enriched” lifestyles that Queensbay Mall offers – a place which is vibrant and full of activities, one can shop, play, relax, get together, entertain, be entertained. It is a “family lifestyle mall” of international standard catering to households who are looking for good value for money and the latest in designs and styles.Welcome to Queensbay Mall, It’s all happening here!

Really a nice place to hang out but lacking the crowd to keep the place alive. While posh shops could last longer, the supermarket will benefit better with fresh produce and better stock. Most malls in KL would thrive better than the place. Probably bit tad too far away from town?

Queensbay Mall is located in Bayan Lepas. I stayed a couple of time in the vicinity and had visited it twice over the past 6 months. It has many shops and international brands, and offers the shoppers a wide selection of merchandise. The main anchor tenant is the Japanese group, Aeon Jusco. There are many restaurants for the patrons to... More

Its a big Shopping Mall . You can get everything here. AEON Jusco. Popular Bookstore. TGV cineplex. Bank. Telco service centre. And food court of course. But too big. Not a good place to fast shopping. Its a good if you want a relax time. Not to rush by slowly discover.

Like all mega mall in Malaysia, this shopping mall have food court, cinema, medicure, reflexology, clothing, computer, pharmacy, house hold, café and restaurants. AEON is the departmental stores here. Nothing much I can say about mega mall in Malaysia. All brands similar.

Its a huge mall, will take some time to finish walking and shopping. Only thing is that a lot of the shops are carrying the same brands as in Singapore. I am not too sure if the prices are cheaper but if I am overseas, it would be nice to see something different. But other than that, for shopaholics this... More

The Mall is very spread out and shopping there involves plenty of walking. It's a long way out from the main shopping centre of Georgetown. All of the usual branded shops and some quite good restaurants there. It can be reached by using the 401E Rapid Penang Bus if necessary as a taxi will be expensive.

This is a shopping mall that you can find many great restaurants, cafes for good meet ups with friends & business associates. There are plenty of car parks & one can spend most of the time hanging there as there are cinema, entertainment centers as well as great weekend promotions. The good lighting & air-conditioning in the mall make you... More

Cinemas on the top floor with a lot of shops. Not unpleasant at all. You can find a lot of what you might need here. This includes a couple of bookshops with books written in English.

My family recommended this mall to me, although further from Georgetown where I was staying it's definitely worth a visit. You can get all your shopping done in the one place. It's clean, well laid out and offers many types of stores including a supermarket plus many food choices. I will visit again next time but without the kids so... More

Second best to Guerney Plaza this mall is situated in a new residential area near the airport. The bus 401 from Pengkalan Weld stops also here. Filled with the usual Malaysian retailers there are also some upmarket brands as Coach and jewellery stores. The Aeon department store, quite basic though, holds three floors and the eating possibilities are abundant as... More
