We visited here on a showery day, but managed to dodge the rain. Recommend paying for the audio guide, which is very interesting. If you like history you will love this. Plenty of place for children to run around.

Ok to spend 15 minutes viewing a pile of rubble on prime real estate land, if it was free to get in - which it is not. Very disappointing and overpriced. Now if there was a pyramid there..............

One of the best historical sites I have visited. Very educational, fascinating and enjoyable. On arrival, you think I won't be here as long, however take advantage of the free audio guide. You learn so much from this, than just looking and reading the boards....More

Educational visit but we were a little disappointed overall. Not really our thing but if roman remains are up your alley this is the place to go. We spent a good hour here. Preserved very well and interesting reconstruction but I don't think I'd return...More

What a site this is! Fantastically well preserved and presented, the audio guides are excellent, this is easily one of the best Roman sites in the UK. Splendid, AVE!
