We had good time with family, resort is above small town Bramberg, accessible only by cableway Smaragdbahn. Behind village (cca 300m) is also small ski area for kids and begginers, accessible by foot or car. Town itself is small, nice and quiet.

Not family friendly ski resort, bad weather compared to other ski resorts in the area, the ski schools are located at 2100 m altitude, so prepare 22 eur per day extra, if you want to bring your child to ski schools. Smoking everywere inside the restaurants. From 60+ km of slopes, do not consider some 20+ km which are for... More

Wildkogel slopes are awesome fun. We stayed in town and went on many runs. We brought our own sleds but there were many places to rent them too. We rented one snowboard locally for 25 euro for two days. Tickets for the slopes are cheaper as the day goes on and last run is at 630pm for the gondola. To... More

This is a very nice hiking area, we were here in late September, when they weather was unusually fine. This day, we led a shorter tour around the mountains. We were only out for about two hours in the area, but other members in our group took a much longer trip and returned to the same place. The views are... More

Wildkogel is an ideal destination to camp around Hohe Tauren national park and exploit all the options that the national park offers. Staying in this region especially entitles the residents to avail a national park summer card that offers a score of activities and mountain passes for free to the visitors, which would otherwise cost a fortune to individuals. The... More

We liked this place very much. A lot of blue slopes - perfect for families with kids, very good snow comparing to other places this season, well prepared slopes. We lived in Neukirchen and it was very comfortable place.

Had a fantastic day on the Wildkogel, went on bus to Neukirchen. If you have a dog ensure you take a muzzle or Beisskörbel before you use public transport in Austria. Used lift to get to top. Weather was fantastic, had a beer at a restaurant and chilled. Enjoyed the live music and great atmosphere. Then walked back to Bramberg... More

Great skiing holiday.Stayed in chalet Schoeneben Wenters in Wald im Pinzgau, just next to the swimming pool.5minutes ride only to the ski area Neukirchen or sleigh ride(Rodelbahn) in Bramberg. Great ski schools for children with fun features and even babysit of smaller non-skiers. We will definately come back!
