We love this park! Love the sites the area and beautiful lake. Friendly staff seen frequently. Proximity to Kingston is perfect for a quick get away. Washrooms are very clean and accessible.

Charleston Lake Provincial Park is one of my very favourite provincial parks - and we camp in them or visit several per summer with our 9-year-old twins. It is gorgeous! We have our own canoe and there is so much to explore. The lake is so clean and refreshing. There are quiet areas to discover on the canoe to swim... More

This Park offers something for everyone - camping, swimming, hiking, nature displays. Plan on spending the day to make it worth the admission price.

This is a fantastic and large park. We've stayed here before and, in both instances, we've enjoyed our visit. I would say that this is truly a hidden gem at just a 2 hr drive from home.

Our reservations did not disappoint. No problem with locating our 5th wheel on our site and accessing the power post. Remember to either bring water with you or fill at the dump station on the way to your campsite. There are no taps (with acceptable threads) available to fill your trailer once you are on-site. We enjoyed three of the... More

We went to the park on a Saturday and stayed till the Thursday. The park is large. It has many activities for everyone. There is hiking, birdwatching, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and relaxing. The park is clean and the staff are friendly. We were very lucky with the weather. It rained the Saturday night and was in the high 20's all... More

The park has al lot to do. Different hicking trails all around the park, with different levels but all well attainable if you take your time enjoying with what mother nature pleasures you with her beauty. Lots of canoeist and kayakers also on the lake. Beaches are clean with no lifeguards. Bathrooms are clean with showers and well maintained. The... More

We spent a few nights at this Park where we stayed at an "Interior" campsite. Although a far cry from backcountry camping, the sites afforded some modicum of privacy while being relatively easy to access. The setting is quite beautiful, too. My only 'gripe' about this Park is the sound of motorized boats invading the beauty and tranquility of the... More

Wow! What a day spent at this beautiful park! Very clean camping areas, easy to get around and reach amenities. Kayak and canoe rentals-- or bring your own. Worth going out to the various spots you can bring your kayak up on the rocks and go in for a swim. Teenagers had a blast jumping off rocks in a few... More
