Whole calendar area is 0,5 ha, which contains thirteen sculptures, symbolizing the traditions of the ancient culture of the Balts, Lithuanian holidays and feasts. It is really fascinating place to see if you visit Kretinga.

You can stand in the crowd to watch the saints, but it is just a impressive when it is quiet. Complex workings with lots of dials and movement. It was fun to photograph it when the crowd hadn't formed yet.

We were brought to Kretinga to visit the church, monastery and mansion. This place looks more interesting than the areas we visited!

Nice place if you are coming to Kretinga. There are 13 wood sculptures each simbolizing different event or festive. Unfortunately not much information in other languages than lithuanian. Nice park around with three ponds, well maintained paths and the famous Winter garden is several hundred...More
