Very good experience visiting this place with my family.there is a Arti in river Mandakini in every evening at 8pm.please reach there before 7.30pm book a nice boat do some boating while watching Arti in the ghat from boat.good experience,highly recommendid.

A boat ride in the evening during the time of "aarti" makes the experience very cool one in summer. And very colorful too with all the lights on both banks of the River Mandakini.

This area is not much developed.It has importance since Lord Ram spent few years of his exile.Mandakini river & famous Tulsi and Ram ghats yes it is the same place where tulsi das ji performed chandan tilak to sh ram. Good boats are available here....More

Only go in the evening to experience the aarti done (7:00pm onwards) and take a boat ride (Rs 100 for the whole boat).

Only one thing to say about this place is to avoid this place.. If you are a devotee you can have many more places in India which are better than this place..

Overnight Chambal Express 12177 is direct or any train through Satna and then to Chitrakoot by road.
