Parked up near the village green. The village itself is beautiful, very quaint with nice shop, pub, tea rooms and (slightly randomly) a shop that looks like it sells pottery in the shape of a car (it was called car pottery). On to the waterfall,...More

If you like waterfalls you will love this one. No distance to walk to and located in a pretty spot to relax in, take in the view and listen to the water.

West Burton is a very pretty village with a rather splendid waterfall. Whilst not as big as Aysgarth, it’s certainly worth visiting if you were in the area.

Not the most spectacular falls but still impressive. Just off the village green and hidden away, well worth a visit if passing or walking nearby.

‘‘The west burton falls may not be as dramatic as some others in the area. The falls however are scenic situated in a basin at the end of a quiet lane in the village. There is a pretty stone bridge and a foot path leading...More

Having come in from Hardraw where the falls are costly this was a delight and free. It is tucked away in the back of the village, don't be fooled into thinking its the small falls on the approach to the village. It is at the...More
