Great value for money, children and adults enjoyed the train ride. All staff/volunteers were so helpful and friendly. Gifts the children were given exceeded expectation and I loved the personal touch of the printed carrier bags and Christmas card. Would definitely recommend.

Visited December for the Santa special with train mad 7 and 5 year old boys and they loved the steam train and Santa experience. Enjoyed the fun ride, waving at waiting cars and park dog walkers. The christmas greeting with Santa was lovely and with...More

My nephews, aged 7 and 5, loved their visit. They found the steam engine really interesting and enjoyed meeting Santa. Nice little cafe and shop with very friendly staff. Thanks to all the volunteers who run this attraction. It's not the most scenic of rides...More

Smashing little train trip in rickety Christmas carriage. Back to station for mince pie and punch and then visit to Santa who was great. Just the ticket. Staff all pleasant and helpful.

Went to the Railway for the first time on Saturday. For a start Santa's Grotto was a complete joke - no Christmas atmosphere, no nice decorations and lighting inside and Santa himself didn't look authentic at all. His face was mostly uncovered and my daughter...More

It's quite a cute little railway for a day out with the family. A good tip is to check out when they are holding different events including motorcycles, vintage cars etc so it's worth checking out.
