A lovely small stately home, so not huge to walk around, pretty garden with a fairy glen water feature that the children loved, nice tea room with plenty of choice just outside Leighton Buzzard, with its very pretty high street and street market

Spectacular grounds beautifully maintained. House is magnificent and only the ground floor is open , but just stunning decor and ceramics - definitive Chinese collection.

This property was originally the hunting lodge of Waddesdon Manor and I believe is still used by the Rothschild family . The views and the gardens are absolutely stunning - lovely place to visit

Really disappointed surprised they were open as we had been trying to get in for weeks. We then had to pay five pound for the privilege. I will not go back

Jewel like house with great tapestries and lovely gardens. Relaxing visit and wander around the gardens on a mid week day off work. Not open many days but worth searching out.

This is one place where Nature has been beautifully rearranged by Man! I normally like wild areas to unwind while strolling with my family, friends, or even solo, but this place is a special alternative in all seasons. The tea room is cosy and friendly, and there is a vast choice of delicious gluten free cakes and lovely teas. However,... More

Still owned by the Rothschild's today this little estate just outside Wing in Buckinghamshire is a time capsule. As you drive in park in the car park to the left just inside the gates and pay or show you National Trust pass at the kiosk before walking down the sweeping drive to the house. To add real value to your... More

Being a National Trust house you can expect everything associated with this status- a car park, good accessibility, a tea room and a house and gardens worth a good look round. The gardens are beautiful, and hold some great views across the countryside and whilst the house is still lived in, there are several rooms open to the public which... More

This was the family home of the Rothschilds and they still live here and come down and use the rooms that visitors see during the evenings. An interesting idea as when I visited the rooms were laid out with displays on all tables and every flat surface. They must have to remove and these and the stewards have to put... More

This is an NT property although still used by the Rothschilds. The Gardens are lovely, and cost £5 to see , the house ( you can see for an additional £5 to view 6 rooms). You can see everything in 2/3 hrs , although I do feel the house is not value for money for paying visitors. There is a... More
