We stopped to view the bridge from both ends. It is an interesting feature and well worth a close look. There is a small section at the eastern end that you can walk onto the bridge.

Visited this tranquil, warm location whilst spending the day with Peter "The Mailman" delivering the mail on the Oodnadatta track. We got the opportunity to have a walk around the area, walk on part of the bridge & take some photos. Peter has a vast...More

We were the only people here at the time so it was particularly peaceful and very pretty. The bridge is something different but worth a look too.

The sight of water and a huge bridge in the otherwise barren outback makes this a good place to spend a bit of time when travelling the track.

This is a huge Ghan Railway bridge, great camping spot. Make sure you explore both ends and take advantage of the elevated hills around to take pics. Check out the cemetery on the northern side.

Camp to the east of the track along the waterhole. Not much firewood, but beautiful and quiet campsites easy to find. The bridge is stunning, but DO NOT walk out beyond the safety fencing as it is extremely dangerous. Great photo opportunity in the middle...More

Bypassed the roadhouses and hotels to stay here for a night and wow, best campsite on this track. Plenty of room. Great history and scenery. Brilliant sunset and sunrise. Must do. Highly recommend.

The bridge is a fabulous subject for photos in the mornings and evenings especially. There are also some lonely graves on the North side of the bridge which remind you of the harshness the pioneers experienced.
