The Adventure You've Been Hoping For!! Let yourself be taken on this half day excursion by the river, snaking its way through the dense Vanuatu rainforest. The river has carved out a magnificent gorge, lined with remarkable limestone formations and overhanging supersized ferns and trees. Be serenaded by birds as you float down to the waterfall and spend some time there taking in the natural beauty. Follow the guide on an easy, instructive walk through the lush jungle and finish off with some refreshments (fruit and water). Ready yourself for the infectious laughter and smiles coming from the happiest people on the planet, as we drive passed their villages and gardens on our way to and from Mount Hope. Required are closed (reef)shoes and shorts. Bring camera, towel and change of clothes.

Stunningly beautiful one hour-ish trip down river wearing a life jacket with husband and guide. Stalactites, tree ferns, butterflies, jungle... so picturesque. You walk up waterfall at end and then about 20 minutes through jungle track back to car. Made our holiday. Worth the trip. Thanks to our guide, Richard.

Floating down a river watching the world go by a lovely relaxing way to pass a few hours after the more rigorous Millennium cave expedition. Nothing too physical here

Absolutely magical. The drive there, floating down the canyon and then the waterfalls it is like you have traveled back in time.It is surreal and the scenery is nothing like i have seen before. We are returning in March 2017 and this time i am sharing it with more of my family :)

The trip is about 40 mins from Luganville. There is a lot to see on the way and you will get a glimpse of island life and conditions in the island interior. The track to the falls is well prepared with walkways and well maintained paths. 5-mins to get from carpark to falls. Quite beautiful.

A great half day tour, but is also part of a full day tour from Oyster Island Resort as well. We were picked up from our accommodation and driven to the Mount Hope site. Most of the trip is on a fairly rugged 4WD track so be prepared to get shaken around. Make sure you take reef shoes as the... More

So much fun! Amazing views from underneath the rainforest and very relaxing to be floating down the river. The guys were great guiding us through the water and really made us enjoy the day as much as possible. If I come back to Santo I'll definitely do this again. Safe and fun, all in one.
