Been here 20 years ago. Now, again, it feels so beautiful, after all these years. So many things changed, but the place remained beautiful as ever. DO enjoy a boat ride on the river in the dusk.

Our visit was more or less pleasant, especially considering the very low-budget alloted to the visit. We travelled from Durgpur and returned on the same day. The road has been recently developed excellently on the dam. The area is cool in the afternoon.

The drive from the dam to and back was wonderful. The sky was turning grey, all ready for a down pour which made it mesmerizing!!!

A vast reservoir, 2nd longest in Asia. Motor-boating in the afternoon was memorable. Feels very pleasant to drive one's own vehicle leisurely on the dam. A nice experience overall :)

This is a huge dam, once can walk, ride or drive to other side of the dam. Lovely view. Prior permission is required from entry office.
