Been there a couple of times and most recently. It is time honoured and worth seeing. It has one wondering about the situation of the person at that time

We stopped to view this grave site whilst on a tour around the island. I think the idea is for visitors to try to understand exactly what the inscription is supposed to convey.

You will find the tombstone of Betty Stiven near Plymouth, Tobago, set back from what is now a road and surrounded by high rails. The mystery lies in the inscription. Worth a look if your there as near to Fort James.

While I wouldn't make a special trip to see this tombstone we went to it as part of the general island tour.

A very odd inscription on this tomb. Worth a visit and see if you can solve the riddle. It doesn't say much and what is does say will get you thinking.
