Took absolute ages to pay at the cash desk because of the queue of mass tourists who each wanted their individual purchases separated. Then they could not get my Thai bank card to work....so I had to walk to the other hall to withdraw cash....to be honest not sure if a bank problem. But because my cash withdrawal worked I... More

Before we visited, I went on the website and saw a lot of brands that I recognized and love. I was expecting to get some shirts and jeans, also some electronics for me and loved ones. But apparently, there was only at best 40-50% of the brands that they said is there on the website. On top of that, some... More

I checked this place out before a coffee meeting over the road. I must say i wasn't impressed at all. It was uninviting as soon as you walked in. Big open spaces with nothing. Go to any of the hundreds of other shopping malls for a better shopping experience at cheaper prices.

this place is big and over priced , dont waste time here , it's over priced and they would lure you with duty free system which is just worthless. Dont go unless you have some free money to waste. and I dont know why chinese people shop so much from here?

They sell to who that have a boarding pass and then pick the things up at the airport. It's not quite comfortable because we're about to fly, we pay here but can't have things we buy immediately. Accept we're about to leave or come back to Thailand then we get what we bought. Too bad! Only somes that we can... More

Yesterday I endured a visit to the Kingpower "duty free" shopping nightmare on Bangkok's Soi Rangnam. I cringed when I arrived and saw at least thirty huge tour buses. As it turned out, the place was packed with Chinese tourists buying everything they could cram into a bus. I live in Bangkok and travel frequentlly and my "member card" had... More

I got a copy of the free map of Bangkok and there was an advertisement on duty free shopping in King Power Complex. Since we were rather free, we drop by for a look. The complex is near Victory Monument. Most of the visitors are from China, mainly tour groups I think. We did purchase a couple of things there... More

The King Power Pattaya is a large selection of Duty Free items While there were some good items at good prices, we purchased some items and arranged to pick them up at the airport The instructions seemed quite simple – Pick them up from King Power at the airport near your gate When we got to the airport 10 days... King Power is the company which controls Duty Free Shopping in Thailand. This Pattaya outlet is just an offspring from the International airport's King Power outlets. As with the King Power Duty Free shops in the airport, you will find mostly everything more expensive here than in regular retail shops in town.
