Yulong Snow Mountain is very beautiful especially it shows the beautiful view on a sunny day. It is easy to join a local day tour to Yulong Mountain and it is also economic. The day tour fee is CNY400 per person (coach return ticket, entry fee, snow mountain cable car fee and electromobile/between entry door to the cable car station).... More

The day I went there was a partial power trip at the cable car station. Imagine those who needed to use toilet(with doors). The queue to take the cable car is frustrating! U get the local prc pushing u like crazy & jumping queue. Personally I think going with tour is a better option in term of navigation. After alighting... More

I've been traveling to China for twenty plus years. In the past few years every special place in China has been turned into touristy hell. This is no different. I visited off season and it was the typical Maze of China wait and multiple cue stations. It took over three hours to eventually reach the tram that takes you to... More

It takes quite long to get on the cable car. The other way to cut the long q is u need to join the tour with travel agents...by joining the arranged trip with travel agents. No need to queue. Juz go straight to the special lane...

Definitely a worthwhile attraction to visit while you are in Lijiang. Be well prepared with thick gloves and warm clothings, and advisable to start taking the cable car up the mountain after 10am. You will also be advised to bring portable oxygen cans in case you experience high altitude sickness. You can purchase them in supermarkets at the towns, or... More

One of the relatively surprising beauty this snow mountain holds in China. This is one of the most accessible snow mountain as well that let you reach the peak by scaling. This is worth your every cent. Do remember to not rush up this mountain and take your time as you will quickly run out of oxygen, tiring yourself out.... More

When I saw pictures of this park I wanted to go as fast as possible, but once there everything became almost a nightmare. I start saying that the days before to go we where looking for some options in different travel agencies, which the price for what we wanted to do( blue moon valley and glacier) where a little expensive... It's a bit difficult being a foreigner here because they scan Chinese ID cards to enter the cable car. I was on a tour with my Chinese wife so she handled all the details for me. The view was great and we didn't need any oxygen but we had one canister if needed. They sell the oxygen for 100 yuan... More

We booked a day tour(468rMB) from merry trip and had a van pick us up from the entrance of Gucheng, they took us to the jade dragon snow mountain and we got to take the cable car up ourselves. The day tour included winter jackets and also a small oxygen spray to help w the lack of oxygen up mountain.... More

We went up on Christmas Day. Perfect deep blue skies. Fresh dusting of snow. Fantastic way to spend the day. But expensive. The bus ticket, the entry ticket, the cable car ticket. Some people find they need oxygen to ascend to the top most point since it's more than 2000 metres higher than Lijiang town and that's a fast ascent.... More
