Nice place to visit with family who love walking and trekking. You need to walk to top of the hill to view the cave. This is very old place been protected by the government.
Not recommended for aged people.

Takes about an 70-75 minutes to climb all the way to Edakkal Caves...there are around 340 steps to climb in the last phase is the climb...One can get FRESHLY made coffee powder on the way to the caves.
