This is an old, calm and beautiful temple with mountains in the backdrop. The temple is around 15 kms from Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary. The drive from sanctuary to the temple is also beautiful. Do not miss it if you are close by.

There is a ktdc tourist lodge too in a very nice location, but not within walking distance of the temple. If you are travelling by public transport, the best way is to stay in guesthouses outside temple.
