We went for a wine degustation to Frascole vineyard in early September 2020. We were hosted in a beautiful room where we got to try several wines and local products and could learn about Frascole wine history and way of harvesting and processes that occur in the winery. The vineyard is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The wine was delicious and they offer also places to sleep!

We were told that visiting any vineyard in this area during harvesting season only goes by reservation, so we booked our tour three days in advance but still felt disappointed at the end. This place is not very suitable for visiting groups, since the storage space is limited, packed and also used for storage of stuff belonging to the owner (like fitness machines..) We were lucky to have a look into the whole process from picking to storage in barrels, however our tour guide seemed to have other priorities than focusing on their guests. We (as a group) were left alone with several wines to taste, and “we could let them know if we needed anything”. Good to know about the wines; In our opinion some of the wines are overpriced, the olive oil however is really good. It doesn’t matter if you purchase any wine, you still need to pay 15 euros for the tour and tasting.. which in our opinion is too much regarding to our experience.

A beautiful vineyard with various accomodation rooms for couples and families during a stay in Tuscany. Take a swim in the large pool surrounded by stunning views of the surrounding hills. Have a glass of the various organic wines produced on the property. Go out for dinner at various restaurants with authentic Italian food in surrounding towns. The proprietors will even organise Tuscan cooking lessons in the restaurants nearby. Will definitely stop there a few days again whe we return to Bella Italia.

The location of the Agricole is stunning, beautiful vine yards and surrounding hills. The vine is also very good. Definitely worth visiting!

Worth a stop if you are going by. Hard to find, but once you find this charming little place, you can have a quick wine taste all to yourself and enjoy local wine
