Sunday 11am Mass is worth the visit for the outstanding music performed by the choir and organists. The organ is an impressive rebuild of a late 19th century one that has found a new life in this cathedral. There was a lot of ceremony in the mass although, even though the singing was excellent, the priest and his assistants did... More

This is now my local Parish. Not a big church for a cathedral but always enjoyed hearing the mass here especially the 8:00AM service.

I went here today after having been to the Cathedral many times in my childhood, knowing that it had been renovated after a fire many years before but having no idea what it was like inside since I've lived far away for years. Well, I couldn't have been more surprised at the change! There is a lovely sense of bringing... More

Visit if feeling spiritual. Nice place amongst all the hustle and bustle of a city. Used to live in the area and is familiar with the church. Was rebuilt due to a fire.

Not at all what we were expecting! Although the outside of the building is a traditional stonework style, the interior is anything but old fashioned. All is very simple, sleek and modern and the huge extension with its sculptures and hanging crown of thorns was obviously a very expensive project. Not our style, and personally, we think the church would... More

It's a beautiful modern worship space that integrates the remaining original cathedral beautifully. I love sitting in the space to pray.

Visited the cathedral at Parramatta which is an interesting mix of the original cathedral which was burnt down in 1999 and very modern architecture. More about everything looking contemporary with beautiful wood and amazing artwork. Seats are okay but the kneelers are very uncomfortable.

What a wonderfully beautiful church. It highlights the majestic feeling churches were built to celebrate. Take a tour you won't be disappointed

The part of the Cathedral ( smaller area where confessional is and holy sacrament usually exposed) is ideal for meditation and prayers. The modern sculpture and architecture of the rebuilt area which can accommodate a large number of people has good lighting and good air conditioning.

What a wonderfully beautiful church. It highlights the elegance of churches built to celebrate the reason the were built for. Easy to get to and lovely to see. Take a tour you won't be disappointed
