There is a board outside with some information but I really wanted a lot more. It is a wonderful building to explore and take pictures of and from.

I have passed this many times as we travelled from Ripon to Masham and thought we should have a look. It is an "English Heritage" site but no admission fee is required. The tower has access to the first floor via a narrow spiral staircase...More

Open all the time and free in. Ruined remains of a tower. Can only access a little of it going up the steps but a sweet little place to visit.

It's not much, merely the entrance to a lost house, but it is old and a nice ruin. Sitting next to the lovely St Nicholas church, beware here, the spiral staircase leads to nowhere.

Very interesting ruin which is free to visit. Located at the side of the church on the banks of the river. Parking is free and nearby but to get to the top of the tower you need to climb a fairly steep stone spiral staircase....More

A beautiful old ruined tower which has access to the 1st floor via a steep spiral staircase. Lovely views over the river and countryside. There is a river walk below which is very pretty and also lovely to walk along.
