This is a lovely tranquil place and the trek to it is fairly easy. I was intending to have a swim but had the beginning of a cold and it wasn't a particularly sunny day, also was the only one in the group doing a swim. Wish I had done it, however nowhere really to change. There were a couple... More

We stopped here for a dip while on a backpacking trip. It was too cold to actually swim, but we enjoyed wading and taking pictures.

We went on a 5 Rivers White Water rafting trip and our guide suggested this swimming hole. It was beautiful from the moment we parked our car. The hike itself is mainly uphill but suitable for children. Once we got there (roughly mile and a half from the campground) we were greeted by pristine water. There are rocks that you... More

We heard about this trail from our white water rafting guide. My favorite trail on our vacation. Our 13 and 11 year old loved this! There is also a beautiful picnic and swimming area below the parking lot. Got lots of beautiful pics of the kids in both places.

This was a great hike and one of the highlights of our trip. I have 2-8 year olds and a 12 year old. The rock jump just topped it all of! Bring a back pack, water, bug spray, and water shoes.

Our rafting guide told us about this spot. What a fun day this was! First we parked and had to hike 1.5 miles to the swimming hole. I would recommend gym shoes for the hike and water shoes once you get to the swimming. My older kids were able to climb the rocks and jump in the water. My little... More

We had a great hike today to midnight hole. This place is great. It does get a bit busy but it is totally worth it. The short 1.5 mile hike isn't a bad hike at all (we are from FL) not too steep and the hike itself is worth the trip. That being said the swimming is incredible, chill, but... More

We range from 5 to 50 and this was a pretty simple hike. We drove from Pigeon Forge in about one hour. We arrived late morning and parking lot was full. The hike is uphill on a light grade all the way in for about 1.4 miles. The swimming hole was busy when we arrived and I swam out first... More

Excellent spot to cool off and relax. It's also a great spot to refill your water after a long day's hike. Don't forget your camera 📸

Walk is beautiful, is not marked so you have to gauge your distance, it's about 1.4 miles. Loved the entire walk, falls and quiet. Will go back when we can spend more time. Note restrooms are closed on off season.
