3 Km road is not done bad like IOC etc.No SCR here. Dustbins more need. improvements in this area.

Ever since I came across a blog on the Narara Marine National Park, this has been on my list of places to visit. Jamnagar is about 6 hours drive from Ahmedabad, and when combined with a visit to the Khijadiya Birds Sanctuary, can make for a great weekend option from Ahemdabad.
The Marine Park is about 1.5 hours drive from Jamnagar. The last patch to enter the Park is not a tarred road - so be prepared ! As we drove into the Park, I was thrilled to see a solitary black-necked stork ( rare to spot) around the salt panes and quite a few greater flamingoes. I knew the Park would live up to my expectations :)
However, without a guide, this visit would be just a walk on a rocky coral beach. I would strongly recommend Firoz ( 9913906445) who was our guide on this trip. Please call the guide a day before, to figure out the low tide timings - since this place is accessible only then. Make sure, you confirm with the guide his availability since at least Firoz was much in demand, and I had to repeatedly confirm that I would be there the next day.
One needs to wade in ankle-deep water - please chose your footwear ( flip-flops or crocs) carefully. The place has corals - and rocks - so footwear is necessary. Also, if you are with a kid, carry an extra pair of clothes for when you return. It is about 3-7 km of walk depending upon your interest - please carry water. Also, except for tea and packaged dry snacks - there is no other food available there.
The experience at the park was amazing, we saw a variety of crabs and corals. Getting to hold a pufferfish and octopus was surreal. Watching the Octopus quirt ink was things that we had only read in a book -watching it happen was amazing. Firoz was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of behaviour traits of all the marine life we saw. He made sure, we went back with an experience of lifetime.
Strongly recommend adding this to your Gujarat itinerary.

The experience was awesome. Must visit families with kids. It is worth the time and effort. It is 1 hr drive from Jamnagar. You must take on a guide else it is a useless visit. We took Feroz guide who was very good. He did a lot of effort in finding and showing us the marine life and giving all the information. Book him at least 2 days in advance. He is very popular there and generally overbooked. You will get to see puffer fish, crabs and other interesting creatures up close.

Out of this world place. You get to explore the ocean bed at low tide. We hired Firoz bhai as our guide. He was super knowledgeable and patient. He educated us about all the marine life that we encountered. We had so much fun.
Please note- one has to walk 4-5km to explore the whole area during low tide. Please coordinate with a guide (Mr Firoz- 9913906445) is highly recommended- before hand as time of low tide changes everyday and you get to know exact time only a couple of days in advance.

the experience of visiting here is unique , the guide Mr, Firoz 9913906445 was cooperative and help us to reach at proper time. He showed us the crab, star fish baby , puffer fish , octopus , coral also we take all this on a palm which was very exciting and full of thriller and unique experience , our kid enjoy very much.
If possible kindly visit with rubber shoe as u have to spend around 2 hour in 1-2 feet water, fabric shoes when filled with water became heavy and leather footwear also not recommended , try to carry little thing with you. One must take goggles.
