Magnificent natural spot .
Sep 2019
I must agree with the others. This is a magnificent spot, with breaktaking views. Obviously, you get better views in a sunny day, but I went there several times, some of them with some fog and wind, and it was really stunning too. The noise of nature is also impressive here. Getting there is quite easy: by the winding road between Colunga and Arriondas, just follow the signs. There´s a big parking lot and, a few meters beyond, a cement construction: a flight of steep stairs leads to the platform.

Stunning 360 degree panorama
Aug 2019
The only thing to say really is that it's worth the climb. Whichever side you're coming from, Arriondas or Colunga, it's worth the drive up the mountain for a view over the coast on one side and the Picos on the other three. Yes, it gets crowded up there in August (lots of coaches stop there), but if you cross the road and follow the path up the other side, you will have the place and views to yourself.

Crowded but amazing view
Jul 2019
No hike needed to reach amazing views. The drive to the top is quite curved but manageable in a car. Go on a sunny day or the fog will prohibit you from seeing as far.

Great views and music from the cowbells

Lovely spot for a stop. There are cows around, but we only heard the bells. Worth the few kilometers out of your way if you're in the area.

Stunning Views all round!

What a beautiful place this is, driving up the winding road avoiding the cows with their traditional bells meandering across in front of you and so worth the drive when you reach the top.....loved the view point with the markings to enable you to see where different places are located. Asturias is a truly stunning part of Spain.

Wow! amazing views.

We drove here from Ribadesella which is approximately 13 miles away and it took us about 30 minutes. The winding road up is obviously steep but is in good condition so it was quite safe and not a problem. The views are good from the start but just get better and better as you drive higher. When you arrive there are ample car parking spaces and then it is just a short walk up the path to the very top. Here there is an elevated stone staircase with a viewing platform on top. The views of the Picos de Europa mountains and in the other direction down to the sea are stunning. You need to visit on a clear day and wear a jacket as the temperature is definitely cooler due to the altitude. There is a souvenir shop and small bar adjacent to the car park area.

Incredible View of Mountains and Sea
Oct 2016 • Couples
It's definitely worth the 11 kilometer drive up the hill for one of the most spectacular views in Spain. From the tower at the peak you can view a panorama of the Picos de Europa and on the other side you can see down to the beaches along the Costa Verde. Lovely distant views on a clear day.

Great drive up from Arriondas very winding road , only go on a clear day fantastic views when you get to the top.park in the car park and walk the short distance to the observation platform. You can see for miles all along the coast and the snow topped mountains inland certain times of year.

Amazing 360 degree view

Came across this viewpoint completely by chance but we were so glad we found it. There is a concrete pulpit type structure which allows you see over the treetops an unhindered view with details of the names of mountains etc.
